Sweet livy

Livy is always saying overly dramatic and flowery things. She keeps us laughing and smiling always. Today she about melted me to a puddle though.

I told her tomorrow was marens birthday. She got super excited and then very thoughtful. Finally she said, " I know! We can buy her two balls! One for each dog, and when the sun comes out, she can go outside and play with her dogs!"

I smiled and said, " oh livy how did you get so sweet and thoughtful?"

She said. ...." Well,  because heavenly Father and Jesus made me, and they are in my heart, and they know I love them. So...that's how;)"

Oh my heavens I love this precious little spirit.

Livy the hairdresser

I forgot to post this one a while back. I can't remember exactly what I said to her but it went something like this. I for sure remember her answer!;)

Livy is playing with my hair and shows me a mirror.....I said something typical..."oh livy you do such a good job how do you always make my hair look so beautiful!?"

Livy ," oh I just put a little spit in there!"

Any gaurdian angels hanging around surely got a kick out of the look on my face!

I know exactly what to do!

For me one of my favorite livy of the days. Today I was doing dishes and livy and noah were playing with cars in the other room. One of the cars rolled under something and noah was crying and livy took on her very mature exaggerated know it all voice.

Livy, " don't worry noah! I ...know...EXACTLY what to do here! .....(now yelling to me) MOM! What do I do here!?"

Dreams

Kids outside laughing and playing, homemade bread smell starting to fill the air,  at the table taking some work calls for Jordy and watching the babes enjoy a sunny late winter day.  Sometimes amid all of the struggle in life I forget to take a moment and remember I truelly am living my dream. My most vivid and yearn filled  dreams never included more than these types of moments. My God is good to me;)

My little mermaid

Okay, so this is a  hard one to blog because part of it was sound but I'll do my best;)

Livy fell asleep in the car on the way home tonight and she awoke suddenly (having clearly dreamed about the little mermaid) she said , "MOMMY! Listen!!" And she proceeded to sing "ahhhhh ...ahhhh" ( she sang the part of the little mermaid where ursella makes her sing to take her voice away)

I said , " are you being Ariel? Thats great"
And she replied so excitedly, " YA!!! And I didnt even know I could SPEAK mermaid!!!"

Ahhhhhhh I love my little mermaid;)
